The devastating tragedy on May 14th, 2022 at TOPS in Buffalo, NY impeeded the social emotional well being of young people. On the East Side of Buffalo and surrounding areas they are still healing or have not begun the process. There are minimal outlets offering joy in a safe space,cultually aware and competent capacity built outlets to release stress and accept grief.
Teen rapper, Captivated C expressed emotions and touched her audience during a lyrically healing performance. In respect and honor to all families of the risen, survivors, workers and Buffalo frontline. In loving memory of “The Jefferson 10.”
